firewall problems im having problems installing norton or zone alarm......they download but then they come up with an error? i have checked for viruses,deleted temp files..... all i can think is that 1 of the kids have changed a setting,can any 1 pls help?cheers |

hi,the error i get when i try and install zone alarm is -zone alarm has encountered a problem and needs to close,sorry for any inconvenience. and the norton downloads then extracts then nothing happens? i have got a firewall but not really happy with it,it is jetico persoonal firewall. cheers for your help. |
Hi Chris, Sounds like a spyware or malware problem download and run HijackThis and check the log file for any malware. |

Your log file appears to be ok, with no spyware. That's good news. Try installing other free firewall like Sygate Personal firewall or Ashampoo Firewall before installing other firewall make sure you disable your current (jetico) firewall. |
