I need to know how to find the 20-digit windows 95 product key without windows 95 being installed. It is in the xxxxx-OEM-xxxxxxx-xxxxx format.

Get the key from the from the Certificate of Authenticity. This could have been either stuck on the computer or on the user guide that came with the cd. If you have neither, your out of luck.

I very much doubt Microsoft will help you as Win 95 has not been supported for years

Telling you how to get one from elsewhere, is against the forum rules as well...

The key is not located on the installation disc. Someone inputs the activation code and it is verified as to sequence patterns and is allowed to be written to the registry after installation.

Without installing the 95 you can not find the product key.
