You can try a virtual workstation program which is commonly used to examine different types of programs and apps if your current operating system does now support it. This can also be used to examine your CD whether it's bootable or not via DOS mode.

If this is not the case, commonly the errors on burning a bootable CD usually is a reflection of a either a bad HD copy or some of the files are not ran correctly. I suggest then you use a cloning program such as Nero or Clone CD to duplicate or burn your CD.
