Error 0123 on Dimm A

I have a problem getting my computer to boot. It takes 14 or 15 tries before it finally starts. When I run the diagnostic tool, I get error 0123 on the memory. I saw one post that suggested adding a different memory DIMM. Has anyone else had that error and tried that?
