Question Dual OS - Swapping Primary with Logical.

Hi
I have a laptop with Vista preinstalled. Made it dual boot with Windows XP in 'D' partition. As such my Primary partition in Vista and Logical is XP. I wanted to do away with Vista so deleted its entry using EasyBCD. Rebooted the system and Repaired using Windows XP installation CD. Now my laptop boots directly into XP. I want to do away with Vista and have XP as only OS in Primary partition i.e. 'C'. How can 1) Interchange Primary to Logical or vice versa and then format Vista partition. 2) Have bootable image of XP in partition D. I can format the entire Hard disk and install fresh XP using its installtion CD but due time constraint and huge data want to avoid it.
Thanks

Thumbs up Partially solved-Dual OS:Swapping Primary with Logical.

Solved the problem using Partition Wizard, thanks to the whs, check link:

But need to fix the drive letter which is D: and i cannot change it to C: as not allowed. Further 'boot.ini' missing message was displayed during system booting, now having fixed it by copying it to D: root system boots normally. Now 'boot.ini' tab is missing in 'msconfig'. So run 'regedit' then checked path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSConfig\state. In right pane deleted all *.ini including boot.ini. Booted the system and again run msconfig all tabs viz. General, System.ini, Win.ini, Services, Startup & Tools appeared but Boot.ini. How to solve this and drive letter problem.
