Dual Boot Vista 64 - XP with 2 SATA's Ok,
I have read almost all of the posts on this, but still need some help here.
My old gaming rig went down and I ordered a new one from cyberpowerpc.
It is coming with vista home premium 64 preloaded with only a recovery disc.
The set up is on a core 2 duo 3.06Ghz cpu with 4Gb DDR2 and a 500Gb SATA HDD.With an ASUS p45 q pro Motherboard
I have a brand new 1Tb SATA hdd here waiting to be put in the new system when it gets here tomorrow.
On my old rig I have XP home.I have the full Win XP disc with Key.Along with two IDE hard drives.
I have always built my own systems until now. This is my 1st Vista PC,although I have used Vista PC's for about the last 6 months getting familiar with it.
So here is the question..
I want to be able to install XP on the 1Tb SATA,while keeping the 500Gb SATA with Vista on it..and use both without having to unplug either one to use the OS's..
Can someone give me a step by step to print out...
I have a few good tutorials printed, but Im still not satisfied with the info I have on this and want this to go as smoothly as possible.
One thing I want to add is that i have downloaded and burned the ISO to disk is Windows XP Ultimate by Johnny...I am going to use that for my XP install instead of my original XP home CD,but will be using my original XP license key...
Thanks for any help.
