dual boot in xp ok i was tryin to install suse 10.1 on xp pro 64 as a dual boot apparently i missed some detail because xp wouldnt allow it to install. i shut down the puter and retired for the night. next morning i turned on the puter having failed to remove downloaded suse iso. suse took over completely and eradicated windows altogether . any pointers? i mean if somthins already posted about this just tell me where to look im new here and still feelin around in the dark. ty and btw linux is beautiful |
hmm, i don't think i've seen anything like this around before. The issue with Linux is it requires a different drive format and also a swap partition. You would have been best to create 2 partitions on the drive first then have windows on 1 and have suse install on the other. |
