drivers Are there any good sites to get get drivers from that don't try to trick you into using there down load manager or on the computer that you need drivers for |
l always go to the manufacturers' support page. l usually find what I'm looking for. |
drivers Thanks I that is definately the best place unfortunately not always available I was hoping there was still some site that just had either links to or the drivers themselves but thanks anyway |
Can you give me an example of what kind of driver you're looking for? A few years back l used to have to search for a while to find a website that just so happened to have the driver l was after. Since then support from manufacturers websites have become a lot easier to use, and like you say, the rest seem to be driver update software for around £25. But the experienced l gained from searching for hours back in the day has given me a good idea of how to find those old pages that's usually someones' personal site who had the same problem with finding drivers....so maybe I can help still? :) |
locating drivers A good example would be I am looking for drivers on a sony vaio laptop model PCG-7N2L however the sony web site doesn't seem to have it listed and a quick search of the internet shows others with the same problem? |
Sony Laptop Drivers for Model PCG-7N2L Sorry about the delay I was a little busy yesterday, I've just looked, it's taken about 10 mins. Seems I've still got the knack! :) This is the actual model number of that laptop vgn-fe660g. From there you should be able to download the necessary drivers..:) For anyone else with the same problem this will take you to Sonys' country selection supportpage: VAIO Country Selection Page |
