'Dreamweaver 8' Does it work on vista?

After installing Macromedia Dreamweaver 8, on my windows vista premium, but the application would not strat up. It would only show the welcome screen and then vanish again. So I want to know what the cause could be or does it not work on windows vista?. Thanks
