Dos 7.1 cd transfering to floppy
 

How would you transfere Dos 7.1 the CD version to 3.5 floppy? I want to install to a old lap top that does have a cd drive?

Can I pull the files out of my Windows 98 2nd edition?

What files are needed?

i assume you meant that the laptop "doesn't" have a cd drive. What are you trying to do? I assume dos is not what you really want to install.

I want to use DOS 7.1 that I downloaded from this site and install it on the lap top, Just to run dos only programs. I do have another computor that has Windows 98, would it be easier to copy files from it instead of the cd disk?

I guess I will need a boot disk with it right?
