Thumbs down Disk, Hard Drives and Memory

My C disk has only 210 MB of free space, although 31.2 GB was installed
and cannot be found. I also have 6.31 GB of free space on Drive E but I
do not know how to transfer information from one disk to another?
I trust I have stated my problem clearly.
Thank you for whatever help you may provide. Blanche

To start with run Windows Disk Clean Up from My Computer:

Right mouse click on your C: drive icon / select Disk Cleanup after it has run it will give you a list of stuff that can be safely removed. Put a tick in each box and click ok.

After you have done that go back and click on the More Options tab and click on System Restore points.

You should find that this has freed up disk space...

there are several ways to transfer files between drives or partitions.

1) "send to" or "move to" or "copy to" options are performed by highlighting the selected file(s) and right clicking the highlighted area. The options window will appear and just select the option you want to perform and in the browse for folder window just choose which one.
2) drag and drop...open the two windows...a) where the file is located...b)where you want the file to be moved to. use the window resizer so that you can shrink the windows to half of your monitor viewing area or less and move them side by side. left click on the files to be moved and holding the mouse button down...drag the files to the other window and then release the mouse button!
3) use third party applications to manage your files...
Microsoft SyncToy - Copy, move, rename, and delete files between folders and computers quickly and easily
