Disabling indexing service.

The indexing service provided with windows extracts information from the documents and from other files stored on the hard drive. This process usually is time taxing on any system and wastes plenty of time. The index service can search a word/phrase/property inside a file or document. Most people do not have any need for this feature, so better to disable it.

To disable indexing double-click the My Computer icon and then right-click on the C: Drive. Select Properties and uncheck "Allow Indexing Service to index this disk for fast file searching." Also do the same for apply changes to "C: subfolders and files,” If you end up with a warning or error message, ignore it.

Enjoy fast computing
