Default Flush the Crap

Well, as you have discovered you need about 15% free drive space to defrag...here are just a few quickies...there are more...google for them...

1...run CrapCleaner...
2...open Explorer...scan your program folders for anything that you really don't need and can do without until the time arises that you really need it...then reinstall it
3...go over your folder index and determine which files can be better stored on burned CDs rather then taking up valuable hard drive space...you will be surprised by the amt of space you can save this way...
4...reduce the size of your caches for a short time, until you can get control over things again...go to Start...Help and Support...enter "cache size" in the search field...read the hits and follow the instructions...
5...run Disk Cleanup, click Start...All Programs...Accessories...System Tools, Disk Cleanup...
6...google "how to reduce cache size" or "how to clean cache" or "how to get more drive space" or...etc..
