Copying a CD-ROM in Windows XP

By juls.dave

In Windows XP, it is possible to record a CD-ROM. However, it doesn't come with a user interface that lets you copy another CD. Here's what you can do.

1. If you have both the CD-ROM drive and CD-R drive, simply drag the contents of CD-ROM to the icon of CD-R drive.

2. If you only have the CD-R drive, copy the contents of the CD-ROM first to the hard disk. After doing so, remove the copied CD-ROM. Then drag the icon of the copied contents to the CD-R drive containing the CD that should contain the data.

3. Start the record process by right-clicking on the CD-R drive. Then, click Write these files to CD.
