Default Computer is screwed, cant click on anything

Hey,

I built a computer about six months ago, i turned it on today and it would not let me click on anyting. the mouse can still move i just cant click on anything, not even the start button. I've tried to reset it when it is booting but i cant find a reset option. Becuase it freezes or wont let me click anything i cant do a system restore fromthe system tools.

Reboot and go into safe mode by toggling the F8 key during the initial booting.
When in safe mode update all your driver files and run your anti-virus and amlware/spyware tools to clean out your system

You don't need a mouse to use your computer.
You can remove and re-install the mouse from the device manager and/or run system restore by navigating with the keyboard.
