hi i have a zip file someone said that would do it but i got 2 pictures of the boot screen how do i change it

i want to change it to vista

why? vista's boot screen is a blank screen.

the file ntoskrnl.exe is the file which contains the data you are looking for. Make sure to back it up before playing with it. You will need a resource editor to make the changes. By replacing the proper images.

There might be a way (but i have not tried it my self)

Get a Vista logo from the net.
It is my belief that there is an image file somewhere in the windows folder that is displayed on boot up.
Try replacing that with the vista logo

Try this at own risk
