Can Quickbooks do damage? My boss installed quickbooks on a machine, then a few days later it crashed. I know this sounds like entirely a coincidence but two days ago we installed it on a different machine. Yesterday morning I tried to start that machine and it started having issues booting with an external HD attached. I unplugged the drive, waited for the machine to start, then plugged it back in, all good. This morning however, the machine will not boot at all. I know it could also be the hard drive as it was attached to both machines as well, and I know it could also be a virus, but i'm just checking to see if there is any chance that quickbooks 08/09 could cause any such damage. Thanks all |
Any program can cause instances of instability. So yes it can cause issues. QuickBooks has had an issue with this for a long time. Most instances can be easily fixed....as most answers are in their forum.
