bios

I have an ibm clone computer and I disconnected the battery in an attempt to bypass password protection(bought used and can't find guy I bought it from to acquire password)now it won't even turn on. The motherboard is an elite k7sem.
Help

Make sure that you replaced the battery in the proper position. look up your motherboard manufacturer and check for the manual...in the manual should be the proper instructions for clearing the CMOS
