I have an LG netbook and tried to upgrade to vista big mistake, now everything is messed up. I dont have an installation disk for windows xp home. I do have a thumb drive, and have been trying to download versions off the net, but found only one that will goto the install screen and that as far as it goes. Do I have to clear my hard drive and install that way or can I install using operating system that I have?

Can you be more specific about your system's status?

Can you load any operating systems currently?
Were you dual booting the netbook or were you replacing XP?

There should be a recovery disc available for your laptop, what model is it?
