Linksys is at the top of there class, as well as a rising netGear who have surprised me on several occasions. Though the cost factor won me over and i absolutly love my D-Link624. Mind you there was an issue with an older computer having trouble connecting, but outside that it's been perfect. It's sort of a tie for a "best" wireless router. |
My choice would normally be D-Link. I've used D-link products for years now. Linksys if definately a good one too. I would be happy with a linksys router. I'm not using a router right now, but I do have a D-link hub, it's a bit of an oldie now. |
I run both a netgear and a linksys wireless router in my house and I prefer the linksys hands down. Especially with a custom firmware. It is not that there is anything wrong with my netgear (although it does overheat a bit and is missing some basic functionality like being able to reset it via software), it performs adequately and has for years. My wrtg, though, is just amazingly reliable. |
I am a tech of some computer shop, I have already use D-Link, Linksys, and Neatgear for some office and government office they are both similar only differ in price. but I love linksys because some site teach to have tweaks to maximize your needs. example is Linksys WRT54G they replace the firmware with TOMATO. |
