a Little problem Ok its like this, i have 2 hdd's on one of them i had XP on another windows Vista,it worked great, i had an option to start windows Vista,or Windows Xp at the start. But,i had to reinstall windows xp,And now i dont have the choise to choose between OS.Any help???? |
Now there are many possible causes for this: 1: If vista is booting (my experience of the problem) it usually indicates you have to 'tell' vista that it has to ask what to boot. (and vice versa) I think you have to use msconfig but not too sure. 2: Try a program called BOOTUS and install a boot manager on primary while registering the xp install. And if I got these two suggestions wrong dont yell, Im only 13. |

When you reinstalled XP you destroyed the dual boot option along with the Master boot record for the vista installation. You need to follow the instructions for the dual boot from here to straighten it out! http://www.syschat.com/dual-boot-vis...eady-1946.html |
