Hiding Extensions Output from the server is as it is... A *.jpg will be sent as such. When you receive it, you can change the extention to anything you want...say...*.txt. Then when you want to access it, change it back to *.jpg. You can save anything you want as anything you want...but to use it, you have to change it to conform with the computer's internal "translator."
...this is only workable at the user/client level. If you do not have access to the server's filters, then the rest is moot...sorry.
I'd like to reinforce the thought of others, that your school's computers are put in the media centre, for your support, not entertainment. That's what your parents paid for, in their taxes, and that's what everyone expects. You don't open pop cans with your teeth, do you?
