passwords

This is probably a stupid question and I know I've done this before but can't for the life of me remember what I did. How do I get that window to pop up that says "do you want windows to remember this password"? I had to get a new hard drive and ever since then I've had to type in all my passwords and can't remember most of them. Also is there any way I can get me pages to always come up maximized? Everything I click on has to be maximized now. Thanks to whoever can help! Juddan
