Hello, to see if you can get sound while you try and resolve the issue with your card, reboot and go into your bios ( press escape or F2 during boot time ) and see if you can enable any onboard sound if your board supports it. It sounds a bit awkward but if you don't see the manufacturers name on the sound card, another way of finding out is to look for the FCC ID on the card. Try this site:
