Very impressive...is this a new utility from MS? I did not notice it the other day when I visited the site for my usual stroll. I like these "toys" that give me the skinny on what's up behind the scenes and give me the opportunity to react, one way or the other. They are especially good when you want to track down the location of trojan files...and eliminate them.
If anyone can come up with a way to crack the Dr. Watson sendoff's to MS, that would be of help. Those error messages, which I have now shut off, and you are told that a Dr. Watson report is speeding to MS, what good is that doing you, then and there. Why send MS the only copy of the problem, if it can be looked after on the spot "at home." You can get a prog of sorts from MS but you need to be programmer to figure it out. Some of us are just nosey and like to muck about with things. Knowledge is power, and understanding the idiocy that goes into the knowledge base, is even more powerful.
Somebody could make a fortune on a new prog...call it "Bug Spray" that reacts to all crashes and freezeups and the like, and offers to not only explain the offending file, or the offending process, thus "teaching" you something, but also offers to debug on the fly, and at the "moment."
