Thanks for the reply. I tend to agree with you that it's done for. I dont know how to take the drive out, so i guess i'll look into buying a cheap used computer. I'm not even sure if i still have the windows 98 cd. As a matter of fact, i dont know what the drive is! Thanks for your help. This seems like a pretty good site for puter dummies like myself.
