According to
AVG Free antivirus site they are going to discontinue AVG Free 7.1 version on
18th of Feb 2007.
But it also mentions
new 7.5 version of the AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition with improved performance and full compatibility with the latest Windows Vista.
So they are just replacing the older version with new improved version.
