Hi, I want to move my current & registered, XP Pro SP2 OS hard drive, (plus all my other programs, settings & email data), physically into another computer box. The new box has a faster processor & is therefore alot quicker as well. I have attempted a test 'connection' & when I boot, all it does is continually re-boot after only getting so far in the process. It doesn't even get as far as the log in splash screen yet... just bios stuff. I just want to avoid having to spend untold hours doing a fresh install. Then there's the issue of re-registering my product code...will it or will it not work....? And how; step by step please, if it is not too arduous a request...
