Just a quick one, what sort of refresh rates should I be looking for if I wanted a fairly inexpensive monitor (LCD/TFT) that could display games like BF2, Half-Life 2 and Doom 3 on Ultra High and High settings, and not display a nasty refresh line?
I bumped up the components in my PC and the games all play on high, and look great on a CRT, but not so nice on a friend's 26" LCD...
I want to get a bigger screen than the 15" I currently have so wondered what sort of refresh rate I should be looking at. It doesn't have to be amazing, but I would like the picture to stay in one piece!
