Default Is it the time to leave 800x600 behind?

Hi All,

Do any of you think its safe to leave 800x600 behind?
If someone is on 1024, do you think they will be 'that' bothered by some horizontal scrolling?
Anyone know the most recent statistics?
Just curious.
