Default Wireless Network Question

I have a Frontier wireless router in my room that I cannot move. GRRRR. when I connect to it from the living room the signal isnt all that great. I have a Linksys E3200 Wireless N Router siiting in my closet, and I was wondering if I could plug it in the living room and connect it to my router to boost the signal?
