Fix Errors in another Computer by Remote Control

This may be wishful thinking ... But not impossible.
My laptop has lost sound. Even DVD player does not
play sound. Tried all methods suggested. Failed.
Now there are only two options left. (1) Someone to
take control of my laptop on a remote method, namely,
Team Viewer or something. (2) Go to Factory Default
and start from the beginning. Please advice. Thanks and Cheers.
