Recover vista

My friend has a laptop of lenovo 4151/200 comes with windows vista,My friend got corrupted it and i want to reinstall it they didn't given any dvds or cds with it then how can i install, that laptop had 2 drives 1 is c,another one is labeled as backup and size is 10 gb does all the files are in the backup drive if so please tell me how to recover.
