I can't get into the BIOS without typing in the password. The computer is a 3 year old "Acer". I just bought it to have a second computer. I only bought to surf the net...nothing else.

When I turn it on the white"Acer" page comes up for 2 seconds. The bottom left displays "F12 - Boot Menu" and "DEl. enter Setup". It goes directly to "enter PASSWORD"even if I hit F12 or DEL... it still goes to the password. After I enter the password it will go to the BOOT MENU or SETUP...but not before the password.

I'm still confused. Any other help will be appreciated....thanks!
