Depends on what email client you are using!
In most cases just select "edit" on the tool bar and then choose select all in the drop down menu.
Once they are all highlighted you can choose delete from the tool bar or you can right click on one of the highlited messages and choose "move to" and select the delete folder. they will all be transfered to the deleted folder and will be removed when you exit.
