Default RAM upgrade

The computer is a desktop with Windows Home XP s'pack 3 with Alive NF6G-VSTA motherboard. I ran a scan from CRUICAL .COM re the upgrade and it came back that this ram upgrade was compatible with my present sent UP and recommended the 1GB.DDR2-667[PC2-5300] for my computer.
