A couple of years ago I bought a Toshiba laptop with Vista basic preinstalled. But they didn't give me a proper Vista Basic OEM install disk, rather they gave me this recovery CD that is 4.7GB and i don;t even know waht it is; so can anyone tell me where to download Vista Basic OEM for Toshiba laptops. i searched it on google and it will only display DELL notebooks. it's perfectly legal because I paid for the Vista licence when I bought the machine.. the COA Sticker is on the back of the laptop. I called TOSHIBA and all they say is just buy a new copy.. I'm a student with not much money.. how can I afford tbhat much? I phoned Microsoft and all they will say is call TOSHIBA which I already did.
