Default cd key recovery "from the cd"????

i have my MS office 2003 cd....lost the case but "thought" ..... i wrote the key down correctly.
want to install it......and keeps telling me invalid key......can i recover it "FROM THE CD" if it's not installed on the comp.???? thanks
