Compaq laptop with Vista, Recent Microsoft update sp1 downloaded and installed. I trusted it because it was an update from Microsoft. Upon installing I lost my sound. Had to roll back my computer. which still didn't solve it. Had to find the driver on the internet to reinstall my sound files.Be careful.
