Download
Dban, then follow the instructions very carefully, run the software to completely clean the drive. This will take a little while depending on the speed of your computer.
Put your Win XP cd in the cdr / dvd drive, and follow the instructions for Method 2 for partitioning and installing from
Microsoft here.
Remember Vista is evil...
