mp3 player

i tried that and still have the same problem. there really is no install of software you just hook up the mp3 player to a usb port and the mtp files are written to the mp3 player. this is a flash drive type of player, it does not have a hard drive so the files are needed so windows media player recognises the player and then you can sync the files in it to the player if that makes any sense (don't know how else to explain it). thanks for your quick replies
