More than likely you have some fouled up DLL files. This can be caused by the uninstalling of certain types of software that attach themselves to other programs...like a parasite.

You need to run clean up programs and clean all the crap out.
then do a registry cleaner (Ccleaner) then run your anti-virus programs to make sure you have nothing hiding. Defrag the computer and once that is done......
start > run and type

sfc /scannow
(notice the space before the slash mark)

press enter and let the system file checker do its thing.

If that doesn't do it then a removal and reinstallation of the program may be required.
