By default Outlook Express stores files in this location:
C:\Documents and Settings\"Your User Name"\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{E796XX}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
"Your user name" = Administrator or what ever username with which you log into your PC.
All the files are stored in .DBX format.
If you can't find the files in this location you can search for *.DBX files on your PC from Programs -> Search -> For files or folders ->
type *.DBX
Once you find these files back-it up, and import them once you re-installed outlook express.
