hi thank again for advice done a check says im running micro windows xp home edition serv pack 2 when i went in to the device manager says in processers intel (r) pentium (r )4 cpu 2.60 ghz 2.59 ghz when system loads up at the beggining takes ages and when it finally does load up windows the screen flashes couple of times then eventually boots in theirs also progarames on system that i aint got any idea what they are ! something called hyper terminal etc for talking sake if i do a search comes up local hard drive(C) then if i pull down scroll menu also comes up with dsk1_vol1(c
good lord all this computer has done is give me stress !!! appreciate the help ur giving
